Tarik has led the way in crafting unique and strategic growth strategies for startups, bigcos, and non-profits for nearly ten years. One half of his brain is busy art directing, pixel pushing, and crafting beautiful, immersive digital experiences – the other half is a Xavier University MBA whose attention to detail has helped him raise significant capital for startups and social impact projects.

Carla Dearing
As founding CEO of Sum180, Carla brought together a team of financial experts, marketers and technologists to rethink financial planning from the ground up. Carla started her career at Morgan Stanley & Co. in financial analysis and new product development in the company’s New York, London and Geneva offices.
She then co-founded a financial advisory and fund administration firm that was acquired by a Boston bank now owned by State Street Bank. Carla graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan, and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. She is a frequent writer and speaker on industry issues.

She is a Certified Consultant in Incubation and Acceleration Programs that is leading the two biggest initiatives, CREE Banreservas, and Altice StartLab. Her passion to create communities and empower women has led her to start Pretty Busy Club, a space for female entrepreneurs to design the business and life they deserve. She also speaks about the importance of human connection and finding your zone of genius when you are running a business.
